I purchased this projector last February 2012 with my tax refund. It's tax time again! yay!!! Any way I have used this projector very heavily. with almost 3,500 hours(ECO MODE 90% OF TIME) in less than a year. Bulb is still strong! I am going to buy another one anyway because I heard its no good if it pops,it can damage the projector. I never had it on battery backup,and sweated like crazy through 5 or 6 power losses (each time booted back up with absolutely no problems!)This is a 720p projector but it hard to tell its not 1080p.I been running it 720 component through xbox 360 and it works flawlessly. Absolutely no lag on gaming. got it projecting on a 120" screen but it looked almost as good on a plain white wall. If you want to wait for a screen you will not be dissapointed. I looked for months and this was the best choice last year,and it appears this year also.If you want this projector to go 3d you need a 3d converter box or a nvidia graphics card.(maybe this has changed)I'm buying another acer this year,as for this projector Acer has won over another buyer,because this one is great!

so i purchased this after seeing a bunch of good reviews, and i set it up and the 3d doesnt work at all. i called customer support and had them try and help me and the projectors 3d didt work like i had told them, they were completely rude ended up hanging up on me i called them back and they did the sae steps over again and put me on hold for 25 mintues. and then hung up again. will never go through acer again and returning this product.

I've had the H5360 for about 5 months now and it is great. I have it mounted on the ceiling about 11 feet back from the wall and have a 7' X 4' screen. The picture is amazing. I haven't had any problems with it at all. The kids love it for playing XBOX too.

This model's a few years old now, but it's still so great! I bought mine back in March 2011 and it's still doing just fine on the original bulb. The HDMI connection is solid. It's nice and bright. The remote is so-so but I hardly ever need to use it since I switch inputs via my A/V receiver. I've never used the 3D feature so I can't comment on that.

The only downside so far is that it can get a little loud, but most of the time I don't even notice. It's also not 1080p, but what can you expect for the price?

Overall this projector is outstanding. I even ditched my 32" LCD HDTV long ago, and use my projector for almost all of my watching movies and television shows.

I had this projector for over a year and it worked pretty good. It eventually started showing white spots on the screen. And started yellowing the picture.

I have this projector. The Picture is Awesome. The only issue is that 15 months after I purchased it the White dot hell started.
It starts with 1, then it just continues. More and more and more. The DLP chip is faulty. The warranty is 12 months. I now have a Starry Universe generator.

im using this projectors for xbox 360 and i love it
good HD picture and zero lag
the only thing i don't like its the heat that come from it

Bought this product by my husband 2 years ago. Bought also an OPTOMA HD66 at the same time. Both have new lamps/bulbs replaced. Optoma just recently, but ACER more than 6 months ago. We don't mind replacing bulbs/lamps every two years but to have DMD problems, dead white pixels is OUTRAGEOUS. Optoma at least gave us an extended warranty just today 10/16/2012 for a one time repair. But ACER cannot even recommend a place to repair it. There should be CLASS ACTION SUIT against ACER for victimizing a lot of customers with this product. The dmd chip is warrantied by Texas Instrument for 5 years and yet ACER with VERY BAD business practices and customer service do not even care about victimizing consumers. See more of dead white pixels or HORRIBLE white dots on projectors and you will see how bad it is! Look it up in youtube before you BUY!!!

I purchased an H5360 almost a year ago (less than a year ago as will be seen below). Great image, bright and big projection area. I have measured a 108" diagonal on my pull down screen. I use it for games (my kids), DVD's and movies from Apple's iTunes store and even the HD content looks great. Easy to use and to adjust the image. Easy to use on a table or mounted on a ceiling (e.g. easy to flip the image based on where you mount it). The remote is a bit clunky and the sound comes on even when attached to an AV system so that needs to be muted every time I use the projector but that is a small nit. For the price a no-brainer purchase. So, why the three-star rating? After using is for 9 months the projector quit. When I turned it on I got a flashing power light but the projection lamp did not come on. I contacted Acer support and via online chat with someone in India the problem was quickly diagnosed. A return was set up and I sent the projector to Acer in the US for repair. Fortunately, the projector was still under the 1 year warranty. I got word today that the projector has been repaired (took just a couple of days) and is on the way back to me. So far, very good warranty service. So, when it works the projector is great but I hope this lamp failure is not an omen of bad things to come.
