I rarely write a review on an item I purchase. However after reading some of the reviews on this one I felt the need to chime in. My husband and I are movie/music junkies and we love a good picture as well as sound. I did some solid homework when we decided to do a projection t.v. over our 52in t.v. I looked at devices ranging from the 3m/roku projector to the ones that were thousands of dollars. This guy caught my eye and for $200 I can complain. I hooked it up to my stereo receiver and have full theater surround sound, liked to my roku and dvd player. We cut the cable/satellite cord a couple of years ago and haven't looked back. So getting to the review.. I do have a fairly dark living room so the picture is great, and even with shades open can still see the picture clearly. As far as the speakers, they are weak to be nice. This is no concern to me because I knew I would be putting it on my sound system. We have had it in use for a few weeks now as our primary viewing device, and LOVE it. In short. NO it is not the same experience as paying $40 for 2 people to go to the theater, however it does all it says and works well with other home electronics (yes even my wii and xbox). If you want a reliable low frills projector I highly recommend this one.

Full compliance with the agreement, the article is complete, according to what was published on the Internet. We paid a great price for the purchased item. I find it very important that the firm needed to receive, this gives us great confidence and trust

Honestly I don't know why there are so many bad reviews. I have had this projector in my room for almost a year now and I have found no problems. I use it for my Xbox 360, cable, and computer every day all day and never turn it off. It is true that you can only see words from a computer in native 800 x 600, but I see no reason to have it any larger because you couldn't see the text anyways. You can also change the aspect ratio very easily. Installation is very easy because I built a shelf on the wall to hold it. (I recommend putting it level with the bottom of the screen in order to make the picture not blurry.) Overall this is an excellent projector! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a low budget gaming/entertainment projector that is bigger and cheaper than any television on the market. I am the envy of all my friends and family. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is that one of the pixels went dead after 6 months of constant use. Thank you, ProjectR!

1.0 out of 5 stars Keystoning is horrible, January 27, 2012

I knew that the picture wouldn't be optimal, given the price of the projector, but the image is very grainy and dark. In addition, it has a manual - yes, you heard me right, a manual - keystoning adjustment. It's a knob on the back of the projector. When you turn it, it feels like you are moving a cheap piece of plastic. It doesn't help that it doesn't work; you either end up with a fuzzy bottom of the screen, or a fuzzy top. The only way this projector would be good is if it was sitting horizontally in line with the screen - do not expect to mount it on a ceiling and have good results. I'm returning it and getting a different model from another manufacturer. IF it was $100, it would have been a decent deal for backyard movies, but it's not. Way overpriced for the quality.

1.0 out of 5 stars Beware that this is not 1080 native, January 15, 2012

Amazon has since corrected the false product headline description saying this is 'full 1080p' projector. That said, you will be much better off with a projector like the new Epson EX5210 (Amazon starts selling Feb 1, 2012). This one is only 800x600 resolution and with the flaws like poor focus and other problems as noted by others already, this is way overpriced for the quality you get. Given that Amazon will sell EX5210 for $449, this for $299 is way overpriced. My recommendation is to get the Epson. I used to be a big believer in LED projectors for the bulb life, but my only LED based projector DIED not because the bulb failed but the LCD panel - everything went pink after less that the bulb life in a regular projector! I had to throw away the entire projector. Better to replace a bulb that throw away the entire projector. I would not ever get an LED projector again because it is a false economy.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed in LDR33 Projector, January 4, 2012

Picture was not very bright, but I would have expected that since it was a LED. I was most disappointed by the picture resolution and focus. There is no way a person could use this as a home unit and be happy with daily viewings.

This is a pretty nice projector I was a little dissapointed when I plugged my computer to it and could not read anything unless I put it at a very low resolution. I decided to hook it up straight to my hd dvr from directv via hdmi and the picture is awesome! I tried gaming on it but you really have to bump up the brightness if you're not going thru the hdmi. Also there is a grid that is very noticable when you sit close kinda looks like a window screen over the picture which makes reading small text hard. but if you sit back and use hdmi or a very low res. with the lights down low this thing is awesome.

Ok first of all it seems like a great deal, I figured it was worth a shot. Picture is ok, colors are very poor. Built in speakers are terrible. The manual zoom is a joke. DOES NOT WORK! What happens when you turn it to zoom in? The picture is instantly so blurred that you cannot view the image. Now if you can set the projector in one spot and manage to not use the zoom function, it will be ok. It does however have a lot of great inputs, such as 2 HDMI, 1 RCA audio out, Component in, and a built in tv tuner which is nice. But over all if you want something cheap are not concerned about picture quality at all what so ever, or sound quality for that matter great go for it. But once again like always you are getting what you paid for!

I am thinking of posting a video on this projector for people who are researching. This projector has everything you want. Very good quality, 20,000 hrs bulb life, 1080p video works very well with xbox (modern warfare) and sound is amazing.
