The Epson PowerLite 1261W is a nice projector for presentations. The USB connectivity is very good and simple for PowerPoint and slide presentation but when displaying movies it is a little jerky. I was told that I shoud use an HDMI cable or a Video connection but neither are provided.
The sound is OK. In very bright rooms the picture is somewhat washed out but in darker rooms the picture is excelent and the colors are spot on.
I do like that it is lighter than my previous model and easier to carry around.

I've been using this as a portable projector to take for presentations and showing films. Here are my highlights:

Projector Bag - This is a thin, light bag. It can carry the projector, the remote, and the cables but that is all. If you want more protection or more room, you'll need another bag but this meets my needs.

Brightness - This is brighter than I expected. I've used it rooms with partial lighting and the picture is still brilliant.

Colors - Vibrant colors. The black is not as black as my movie projector but for the price the colors and the blacks are amazing.

Sound - The fan makes a slight noise, but I have not noticed the sound in any presentations.

Auto Keystone - Picture automatically adjusts when I set this up, but it doesn't fit my screen exactly not sure why. Though I can make size adjustments, I can't get the picture as easily as my movie projector.

Cool down - This projector cools down fast and is ready for packing up shortly after turning off.

Overall, this is an amazing projector for the price, and I love it.
