This was a terrific purchase for our family. We use it often to watch movies on the wall in our backyard. We were not sure how to increase the sound, since it has to be louder than the projector allows.
We use an amplifier that also plays iPods, and have an adapter cord. The projector also connects to whichever device you store your movies on, iPod or iPad type items. Very mobile.
Concerns may include charging time- it needs to be fully charged to complete the whole movie. My kids figured out how to keep it charging when there's a power source nearby.

Very a portable device that I purchased for my iphone. I am a bit disappointed since it took me a lot of efforts to have a sharp picture and finally figured it was possible. The dial for sharpness tuning is not fine enough for the purpose.
This is the first ever item I have returned to Amazon. The return is simple and easy. Thanks!

I got it i like body size and loking but i really get some problem at the first time i use. It'd have line when i plug in when stat play VDO line was gone and picture in wall get negative color. Try to fix plug and try plug in out many time but still not show regular picture until now it's too late to return.

It is so hard to buy a gift for a 17-year-old boy, but this was a hit with my son. The quality of the picture is amazing, even when projected onto a popcorn stucco ceiling. My son want the stand and a shelf; he says it's hard to watch without a stand. This is great for when he goes to college this year. He can watch movies, NetFlix, etc.

Got this for Christmas and am pleased. The only issue is that it has no menu so its stuck on default and is set for iPod/iPhone and will only show video or pic slide shows. If you get the cable to hook it to a computer it does act like a second monitor (mirror or independent based on computers settings). Over all it is good, for a square screen has to be strait on and not the brightest but hay micro projector. The speakers are good, and ability to put in earphones means quiet or better speakers. I recommend at least a tripod to make it more versatile something like the Zeikos ZE-TR5A Flexible Tripod. If all you want it for is work slide shows (3m has an app to do it direct), pictures to a group, or a movie from your iPhone then its what you need.

I waited a bit before writing a review but now I'm able to say it's not good for business presentations as it requires dark rooms. I thought it would work with some light, but it doesn't. Disappointing...

You will need to purchase 2 additional cables if you wish to use with the iPhone 5 or 4th generation iPad (with Lightning connectors). Won't work using Apples Lightning to 30-pin adaptor. I would not recommend purchasing until they fix this.

UPDATE: Another flaw: You can't project movies/TV Shows purchased from iTunes. You get a message saying the device can't project protected media. Definitely avoid buying now.

Love this product. I initially purchased it to use with my iPad but you can purchase other extentions to connect it with a laptop. It's great for movie nights!

I love this! Easy to use. Right out of the box. Works on both my iPad and iPhone. I also purchased the extra cords.
