First things first. If you are just looking for a projector to show movies on/video games, this is not a bad option, especially considering the low price. This review will focus mostly on the things that you may want to know about the project. The projector quality is not bad (for a $200 project) when showing movies on a large wall. I've watched videos with approximately a 100" diagonal and videos do not look terrible. The projector comes with an 2' HDMI, Component Cable, VGA and S-Video cable.A lot of people have already mentioned this regarding the aspect radio so I will just mention some of the other issues I ran into. At farther distances, text is pretty much unreadable even with HDMI cables so I would not recommend this for business presentations. The biggest issue that I have with the projector is the poor design of the inputs. The first thing I tried to do was hook up my Nintendo 64. The composite inputs on the projector sit flush into the plastic with a very small gap. This means that because (like several other products) the N64's cables have plastic around the ends, that does not fit into the projector. I had to cut/tear the plastic off around end of the cables to get them to fit.
The second input issue is the VGA input. It sits right next to a raised piece of plastic on the projector. So any VGA cable (including the one that comes with the projector) will not sit deep into the input because the plastic lets you only push it in so far (just far enough for it to work).
The projector fan is a little loud, but if you are watching a movie, it is nothing too disruptive. The projector speakers are fine (nothing to write home about). The projector does not have volume control beyond controlling it on the computer. So if you are playing games on it, you would have to change the volume in the game settings (assuming its an option) which is kind of annoying.
There is a wheel on the side of the projector that lets you change the angle slightly, but there isn't away to adjust the angle of the projector aside from putting a book under it. When using the adjusting wheel it makes the top/bottom of the projection require different focuses meaning that the top may be clear but the bottom wont be (not enough to be disruptive to a movie).
In the end, you could definitely do worse, especially considering the price. If the things I mentioned above are breaking points for you, then you might want to spend a little more money.
(Once I get home after work I'll project a video of the projector in action).

Wow, if i paid 50.00 I would expect what I got in the box on this one.The keystone correction is a joke, I think it is a mirror on an a lever (Not kidding) the top and bottom of the screen is out of focus if the middle is in focus. Not very bright (Which is what I thought of myself when I tried it for the first time) I will keep it, but not use it much. Maybe for unimportant projection but I will have to buy a different projector for what I had intended this one for. Do yourself a favor and buy something a little higher end if you want quality.

While the projector itself runs perfectly fine and has good quality image, sound, and overall performance, this was not exactly what I had expected. I got this as a gift for christmas and I had intended to use it for my Xbox and PS3, so I knew that I would want something that would be quiet enough that I didn't notice it while gaming. This projector has a pretty good sound system all on its own which is really nice. The downfall I would say is that it's advertised as an HD projector, when it is certainly not that. It's max projection quality is 480p, which works fine in FPS type games, I play Halo on it and while the numbers are a bit fuzzy, it doesn't bother me for the game play. However, if you're looking for a truly HD projector this is not what you're looking for. 5.0 out of 5 stars me encanta, February 17, 2013

Judging by the high ratings and the information, I was lead to believe that this would be the perfect purchase. However, I am extremely disappointed in the low quality display, the loud fan and the lack of options for screen choice/tilt. I wish I had looked more into the single star reviews rather than trust the overall so I have learned a valuable lesson from this. 1.0 out of 5 stars Simple toy, February 15, 2013

If you want to put an image on a wall and see pictures move then this will do the job and that is about it. The connectivity of vga, hdmi, and av does make it attractive but be warned it is among the bottom of projectors. 5.0 out of 5 stars Great product for the price., February 13, 2013

The projector it self does the job, however there are a few down sides I have experienced so far. When you first start the projector up after a little while the projector likes to whine very loudly for the first three minutes of the warm up. The projector likes to crop my computer screen slightly smaller than it is. Dark scenes from movies are a little bit of a worse quality. The good does outweigh the bad though. It is very functional. It has many inputs into the projector and the inputs is very easily changed. This projector is very good to use as a gaming device or in a simple home movie set up. I have mine hooked up to project onto a wall about 10 feet away and the picture is decent when using standard cables but even better when using an HDMI input. The picture quality can be adjusted along with the sound. I do recommend this product.

does anybody know how to get it to focus? mine is so out of focus I cant read the menu words? if the focus is the arrows on top of the projector, they do not work! and I have been screwed.
