The first time I opened it, very excited. It's small, bright compare with the small size projector. I checked the wifi, couldn't login because it's only allow 4 digit passcode ???. Bluetooth, it didn't recognize my Samsung galaxy s3 blue tooth. Well...I turn off all of my passcode on my wifi, it shows the web. I typed in Youtube, my favorite web. Youtube prompts me that youtube will end support window CE soon. I tried to down load Google chrome, Firefox, none of them work. O.K. I just want to watch as must as I can so I click on one of the video on youtube, it prompts "video format not support".
I call 3M help support. No help. What you see is what you get. No improve. No future OS upgrade.
If you expect the MP180 a good small projector for small meeting. It's a good projector. Beside that every options you expected on the MP180 are out the window.

I bought this projector to use with PowerPoint presentations. After I got it I learned it doesn't support slide animations which are critical to my presentations. I've been working with 3M Techincal Support to work around this limitation. The alternative is to turn the PowerPoint file into a video file but Windows changes the file into a video format that is not compatable with the projector software. I'm trying to find a video file converter that will convert the *.wmv format to a compatable one. Thus far I'm having no success. I've spent way too much time on this issue. I'm debating sending the projector back and giving up.

I love this projector. I also had realistic expectations for the product before I bought it. I did not expect 3500 lumens out of a pocket projector while paying 1/5th of the price of a full size projector. I am very surprised by how good the quality is on this projector.

Pros
- This thing is small. I mean extremely small.
- Easy integration with the iphone/ipad
- The image is very clear and bright considering the low lumen output
- MPEG Streamclip is a good program for converting videos for this machine
- Battery life is good and you can buy back up batteries for only $35
- MicroSD slot really expands your memory capacity
- It is great for what it is designed for

Cons
- It has the feel of a "not quite there" product
- The interface occasionally freezes up and requires a reboot. This is most common when trying to play an incompatible file time.
- The documentation for converting videos to play on the machine is not good. I use MPEG Streamclip to save files in a compatible format but there is no included or simple process for saving video files. MPEG Streamclip is free and simple to use but there wasn't an out of the box way to do it.
- It is not a good solution for bright locations.

I bought this product to support some of my business meetings as a contingency plan.After downloading the last operative system (from 3M webpage) the product performance was really improved (very decent). I would to get more lumens on it (32 lumens) but ingeneral I am pleased with it.I am buying the second one for home (project kids movies from iPad/iPhone).

Overall nice looking, but that's it. 3M 180 does not connect to Iphone 4, or Ipad 2, via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Pretty useless, as I have to connect cables, which I was avoiding, other than the power source. It does say in the advert connect to Bluetooth easily - yeah - right!
The display keeps going to a volume setting, instead of all setting when in use. Not a good product, especially with the high cost. The visual output is OK.

I am very happy with my item, it is really easy to use, the only thing that i recommend is that you should sell the remote control with the projector because it is really necessary the remote control, the botton that chance each slide are small and if i am doing a presentation i have to give it being really close to tje projector but other than that it is an awesome projector.!

This projector works does not perform well in a normal lighted room. If you want to use it as advertised you need to turn the lights off. This product is best suited in a small confined area with a small audience.

I was really disappointed with this projector, especially with the internet functions.the touch screen.u cant use it without a stylus and connecting to a network is just terrible if not impossible.i think they should upgrade the firmware ad if possible call back the devices to fix the touch screen function.The focus is not good for large projections too.
