We bought this to use for powerpoint presentations to a class of about 15. It does everything we hoped for and more. In particular, it was an unexpected feature that it automatically did keystone correction.

I use this for movie nights and one of the better projecters I've used. I use it in the shop and works well on any wall. Works well during the day as well only thing is the 3d mode only works with computers not xbox 360 and there is no speaker built in it and no hd cable plug in. Good projector overall

for VGA input only, this is a good little projector for the price. it can be ceiling mounted, which i have done. I's brightness, clarity and color or very good, again considering this is VGA only. I have 4 of these in an office environment, two of which are ceiling mounted and the other two used as portable ones.

see title. says it all. too few pixels on screen, everything looks jaggy. not bright enough to see anything clearly even if the few pixels weren't a problem. can't choose different screen resolutions. stuck with 600x800 only. there's a reason it's cheap -- it doesn't do the job.

I definately would recommend this projector if you are researching. The price is great and the picture quality is excellent. For regular movie watching and powerpoint presentations it works very well. I bought a 60X60 portable Draper screen to go with it, which worked perfect. If you don't have a screen, a light colored or white wall still works suprisingly well. I was impressed when I tried it on a slightly beige painted wall. The only downside I could find was a slight "Halo" effect when watching a movie with bright/flashing light sequences... ie Total Recall (new version). But I have read that this is a minor flaw with most DLP projectors. I have not owned it very long yet, so I am still putting the bulb and its reliability to the test.

We purchased this projector for an outdoor theater. We show movies on a 180" home-made screen in our yard. Our friends and family cannot believe the picture quality. It really is like sitting in a theater. The picture is bright and crisp. We have been using this projector for about 3 months, 2-4 nights. So far, so good. You will need to buy a converter for VGA to HDMI. I think we paid around $30 for one. We purchased a Sony blue ray which doubles as a receiver and surround sound. We built the screen out of three sheets of vinyl board from the hardware store, which are fastened to a board at the top and bottom and taped at the seams on the back side of the screen. It didnt take us $100 to build the screen. We are the hit of the neighborhood and have the movie experience every week without paying for the movies. We also plan to hook up the XBOX and WII for life size gaming, and plan to watch the superbowl on the big screen also.

Hi, I bought this item 5month ago. I bought refurnished item. They only cover 3 month for it.

This projector is not working, so I called Acer. And asked to repair it.

I told them that I have willing to pay to fix it. However they say, they are not taking it, because they only repair under warranty.

They suggest that go to local repair shop.

The problem, I cannot find local repair shop.

After warranty done, There is no way to fix it.

Be careful ACer company!!!!!!!

Awesome little unit, I suggest buying an HDMI to VGA adapter with audio though.

Only Con:

No Component RGB inputs as claimed.

Great product, better than expected. The projector is compact and easy to carry, plug and play. Works great. There is also a carry case.
