i bought this system for my friend who likes to present projects to people. he likes it a lot, he would recommend it to others, it actually plays all sorts of discs not complains. no video games.

This is the second one we have purchased. They are easy to use, dependable, light weight. The built-in speakers are wonderful for small classrooms. Our teachers love it.

I purchased two of these projectors to be utilized in our Health & Safety courses that are taught all throughout the SF Bay Area and beyond. Boy, did this projector far exceed my expectations. The easy to navigate remote control, as well as the 'just put the DVD in and play' function is great. I was a little apprehensive when I saw the speakers located in the back of the projector, thinking that they would not be loud enough...wow! was I mistaken. These speakers pack a punch when showing a training DVD or any other media when presenting information. I was also pleasantly surprised when I saw that when I opened the box, there was even a microphone that can be plugged into the back of the projector to speak...this definitely comes in handy when we are teaching a large group of people.

I am so impressed with these projectors, I just purchased two more! I am also hearing nothing but wonderful things from our instructors that have used this projector on how easy the set-up, playing of DVDs, using the microphone, and putting away in it's great little carrying case. I haven't used the stick drive port in the back of the projector yet, but I cannot wait to try it. :)

Best bang for your buck if you are looking for a projector that is TRULY multi-media...

PS-
I highly recommend purchasing a power strip to tuck into the carrying bag when taking along this projector. Fellowes 6-Outlet Strip (15 feet) This particular model I purchased and it works great when our trainings are taught at worksites...no need to find extension cords, etc.

This projector works fine for playing dvd/movies, but not for powerpoint presentations from dvd or thumb-drive. It sounds good: "just put in your dvd or thumb-drive", but doens't work well with those items. It will only play a powerpoint from a laptop. I've had to break out my 10 yr old Toshiba several times just to play a powerpoint.

We were very pleased with our purchase. It was very easy to set-up and very simple to operate. What we like the most is that it only requires power to operate. We do not need a sound system or an external DVD player to make it work. It only takes a few minutes to set-up and take down, very portable

My office got this rather bulky projector to avoid having to carry around a laptop to show presentations. Well....guess what?? If you want to show PowerPoints or *.PDFs which comprise most business presentations you STILL have to lug around that laptop in addition to this Humongous projector. We were better off with a small projector and laptop. This idiot device will not recognize *.PPT or *.PDF files on a DVD, CD, or thumbdrive, so all that supposedly great connectivity is out. If all you want to do is show videos and pictures get this projector.*****************M.S.*************

I was so excited when I found this projector and even more so when I discovered it at a great price on Amazon. It has been all that it was advertized to be, we love it's simple set up and great quality. Perfect for our small groups and teaching classes.

As of this point we have been unable to connect our Mac laptop and get it to show the screen. Why did they not say it will not work with a Mac?

This projector has been wonderful! We use it for personal and business use. Have used it to watch movies in our living room and movies in our backyard(12ftx8ft)! Used it at a trade show to show pictures. Used it in a class for a presentation! Very mobile though somewhat bulky and it would be great if the case had a handle, but other than that no complaints! Love that it is an all in one so no need for speakers or a dvd player or computer! The sound is awesome, even in the backyard full of people we didnt need to add any speakers. It was very easy to set up and run and the HDMI plug is great for watching DVR'd movies on the big screen! Was a great purchase at such a great price!
