Hi there! I bought this projector because I'm finding myself doing improptu presentations every so often. What I like the most about it is its battery life which has never let me down halfway through a presentation. What I find somewhat criticizable is that it isn't quite as powerful as I had hoped it to be and that you cannot enlarge the projection except by means of putting the AAXA farther away from the screen. Sure, it is super tiny and packs a punch for its size, but I really wanted it to be more luminous, since I have to constantly ask people to shut the blinds and turn off the lights. Yeah, I expect too much of life.
Take care!

This little thing is amazing and crystal clear I had a problem trying to get the sound to play thru the audio out but hdmi to your receiver will clear that problem right up. Its simply amazing and depending on how far you have it away from the wall the bigger the screen and its still crystal clear. Ultra portable theater entertainment on the go I take it with me every when I want to share a movie. You can hook up a us gard drive thumb drive sd card and its a perfect media player.

1.0 out of 5 stars a word of caution, May 1, 2013

Since purchasing in 2012, I have been sent three projectors (one original and two replacement projectors), and all three projectors (despite being multiple models- m2 and p4x) have failed to work for more than three months at a time.
At first I called it bad luck, but as it turns out- it's just faulty machinery. Every projector has presented with the same problem.
They have shut off in the middle of use, and have been unable to turn back on, despite repeated attempts to recharge or 'try a new plug.'
When contacting the company for a fourth replacement, I have met unimaginable difficulties although it is still within the one year warranty of my original projector.
I certainly will not be investing any more of my time or money into this company, and would caution you to do the same.

1.0 out of 5 stars Windows CE model Discontinued, April 24, 2013

Really upset with this product. Purchased it so the CEO of my company could do powerpoint and slides for presentations without carrying cords and displaying from a laptop or iOS device. Unfortunately after calling Aaxa, they said we would have to export the powerpoint to jpegs as Windows CE is discontinued and they won't support Powerpoint. What a pain, since our company is constantly updating slides and such. Steer clear, ours is being returned to Amazon. Also, they don't do pdf files, need to export to jpeg to view. Really not the solution Amazon has listed it should be.

Only positive was it had a great picture, what a shame.

I bought this unit because it had the brightest light in this size category, but it isn't really bright enough for most uses. The remote doesn't work, the company said they would send me a new one three weeks ago. It hasn't arrived

4.0 out of 5 stars Works well as a mini projector but the HDMI adapter is a problem., April 15, 2013

Though there is an HDMI port - its actually a MINI-HDMI port - which it does not say in the manual. For some reason, the Apple iPhone/iPad HDMI adapter does not work with it. I am sure the VGA iPhone/iPad adapter will work.

Next the SD card port is actually a Micro-SD card port - again this is not clearly mentioned in the spec sheet - not even on the box. The Micro-SD is not as popular as SD and this could be a problem.

The pictures are crisp - the ability to play files off a USB drive is great.

The fan noise is a lot but can be overshadowed by a good speaker system.

For the money and the size, this is a great buy. I wish I could figure out how to get HDMI from iPhone/iPad working.

Really impressive! Useful for movies (dark room) and presentations. Runs MKV files directly from USB. Only thing that was not good is the audio, not so loud, but this is a projector, not a speaker! Use an external speaker!

I did quite a lot of comparison research before deciding on the P4X. I initially bought it for use with some experimentation with projected touch screens, Wii whiteboard and other such experiments. In this regard this is an excellent choice. Also, I am extremely happy with the size and weight, I can put it safely in a top pocket of my backpack...no problem. I also have used is as a projector attached to my Roku XDS....and it really has a nice picture even in daylight with blinds open....although it is definitely much better in darkened room. If purchasing this for projecting TV/video primarily...definitely invest in a better tripod and some external speakers. It is a bit noisy with the fan but this isn't a big problem for me but something to be considered.
