We read the great reviews and ordered two of these projectors for our small conference rooms.
They are very easy to set-up but are too blurry and not bright enough. We have a projector
screen but even if you put the projector very close to the screen you still do not get a good
quality image. The price is great,but again, you get what you pay for. We're sending them back.

This is a nice projector very good clear image. I have used this in a class room and also a basket ball recreation hall.

Let me sum it up like this:

PROS
* Easy to set up (and this is a big deal to me). I had it up and going in maybe 15 minutes.
* Easy to adjust to the size and shape of the screen (as long as you are able to easily move the projector back and forth in front of the screen)
* The USB plug and play feature really did work for me on two Macs I tested
* A bright image on the screen
* Can shut off immediately
* There was a page in the box that gave the tech support phone number. I called and spoke to a tech advisor and he schooled me on resolution and gently guided me to a more acceptable model. My point is that they were available and answered my questions.

CONS
* Not enough resolution. My application was showing a computer screen while training users on some specific apps. The text was too blurry to read at my computers native resolution (1366x768, Macbook Air 11") When I adjusted down to 800x600 it was large enough and clear enough to read, but that kind of defeats the purpose for me as it cuts the usable space down to less than half of the computer screen - and hence the projector screen. In all fairness, I did not try to play a dvd, or a streaming movie, or photos or general graphics. The lack of being able to read text kept me from going forward with it.
* The built in speaker is crummy. No big deal, there is an option to not use the built in speaker, then you can use your own computer speakers.
* There is no HDMI input

NEITHER PRO NOR CON
* It does not include a USB cable, as many electronics do not - so you will have to spend another $5 for a cable if you don't have a spare laying around. You may also need an extension cord.
* No extensive manual. No big deal to me as the quick start page was sufficient, almost no need for a manual, and a very extensive one available online.

CONCLUSION - Be smarter than me and understand resolution before you buy. It says, right on the product features in the Amazon page "SVGA resolution (800 x 600)". This simply wasnt high enough for me and I really thought I could be satisfied with a low end product since I had never owned a projector. If you only need to show a small portion of your computer screen, this may work very well for you because of the low price. But if you need to show a resolution of greater than 900x675, its just not going to work for you. Check to see what resolution your computer is set on to get a feel for it. On a Mac, go to Apple Menu > System Preferences... > Displays (then you may have to click "Scaled" to see the current setting.) Adjust the resolution to see what kind of results to expect from the projector. Anything above 900x675 wont look good on the projector screen. If you can work just fine at the 800x600 level then you may want to strongly consider this projector. I'm going to try the Epson PowerLite 1261W Widescreen Business Projector (WXGA Resolution 1280x800) so you can look for my review there in a few days.

I'm a trainer. When I visit a new site, its challenging enough without my fist 1/2 hour being consumed with making someone else's video equipment run off my laptop. With my own unit, I can try the new stuff, but in the end, I have my own and it works like a charm. Best purchase I ever made. Thanks Amazon

It is no way "plug and play" device. No manual - you must go online and waste your time to lean how to use it. No USB cable in the package - you must go and buy it. Provided VGA cable makes your laptop screen black - short troubleshooting advice on the page of paper that came with the projector doesn't work. I purchased it in a hope that I don't need to read how to use it - it was promised that just plug and use. It is a lie. CD from the box is completely wortheless - why I must waste my time to register the product to receive spam emails from manufacturer?. No manual on CD as well - you must go online and find it yourself.
